Jen's Jungle

Hours of Operation:

*Open Monday - Friday 6:30am - 6:30pm

General Policies:

*Children must have all current shots

*If child is running a temperature more than 100.1, is throwing up, and/or has diarrhea, please make other arrangements for that day

*If a child is seriously injured or becomes seriously ill, I will administer CPR and/or appropriate First Aid until EMT's arrive.  I will call 911 immediately for assistance.  I will contact the parents as soon as possible with information deemed from the paramedics. 

*Medications will be dispensed in accordance with a signed Authorization For Dispensing Medication form

*Jen's Jungle and any of it's employees will not be responsible for any medical costs incurred due to a child's injury for any reason

*If someone other than yourself is to pick up your child permission must be received earlier that day

*If another person/persons are picking up your child, they must have current ID with them

*If your child will not be attending please call and inform me prior to regular arrival time

*Two weeks notice must be provided in the event of a child's absence due to personal vacation

*One months notice will be provided prior to any vacation time taken by Miss Jen

*If you wish to discontinue services provided by Jen's Jungle, a two week notice must be given and final two weeks dues paid in full by the end of service

*Jen's Jungle has the right to discontinue service at anytime with two week's notice provided

Discipline and Guidance Policy:

*Please see Discipline and Guidance Policy form

Health Records Required:

*A statement of child's health must be provided from a health-care professional

*Immunization records must be provided

*Infant feeding and diaper changing instructions must be provided and updated by the parent every 30 days

Security/Safety:

*All child information is reviewed and updated every three months

*All windows/doors remain locked during Daycare hours

*Children will never be left unattended

*Will ID all people who pick-up children before leaving the premises

*All cabinets are equipped with safety locks

*All electric outlets not in use are covered

*Doors stay shut to rooms not in use

*First Aid kit readily available and stocked at all times

*Certified in CPR and First Aid

*Home equipped with Smoke Detectors, Carbon Monoxide Detector, and Fire Extinguisher

*Monthly maintenance check on home, all detectors, and Fire Extinguisher

*Monthly fire drill will be performed

*Quarterly severe weather drill will be performed

Pets:

*Terry is an eleven year old Dachshund(weiner dog) who remains outside during Daycare hours, weather permitting

*Phoenix is a three year old Siamese/Manx cat who wonders the home during Daycare hours

*Cole is a two year old DLH cat who wonders the home during Daycare hours

*All animals are friendly and loveable

*All animals are current on all vaccinations and visit the Vet yearly

Household Members:

*Shaun Myers is an additional resident of this home

*He works from home as a Graphic Designer

*He is present during Daycare hours however will not be in direct contact with the children on a regular basis

*Shaun is certified in CPR and First Aid
